Vacuuming Of Food – How It Works?



Vacuuming is the process of removing air in a package and seals it using a machine to avoid the access of dirt and microbes. This process is usually being done in food to extend its storage existence by taking away the oxygen so there's no possibility of bacteria lives inside. Vacuuming Of Meat

The first procedure when preparing the fruits to seal in a vacuum bag is to thoroughly rinse it with clean water, put on a strainer, remove stems or leaves if there's any and let it dry. Next, peel and cut it in pieces according to your preference and put those that are already peeled and put it in a bowl with water and lemon juice so it won't get darkening, but remember not to steep the fruits for more than 15 minutes so it won't absorb the lemon flavor. Once you're done, put the fruits in a cookie tray and cover it with a cling wrap, put in a fridge and wait until it frozen. Now, get the vacuum food storage bag and place the fruits inside while it is freezing and seal it with a vacuum sealer machine and bring it back to the freezer. The fruits can be preserved for a year and you can serve it anytime.
Vacuuming Of Vegetables
As usual, the first step is to wash the vegetables. Blanch it and place to a tray to let it frozen together. You can divide the parts into your preferred serving size when it's about time to store the veggies in the vacuum storage bags. Let it freeze and it can be stored for about 2 to 3 years.
